Welcome to the online
home of ‘The Ford Guys’, the official website of Dave Magilton and his
team.
The 2006-2007 season of Sprintcar racing for the colourful “Ford Guys” will represent the sixth season of winged competition for the popular Victorian team and they trust that it will be their best yet.
For the 2006-2007 season, the team will be well prepared with a new Maxim Chassis and a bunch of new spares for an effort that will certainly rank as their biggest in their six seasons of racing Sprintcars.
The thing that sets the Magilton Racing team apart from the rest is the fact that a Ford power plant motivates their Sprintcar. Although other engine manufacturers have tried to break into what appears to be an exclusive atmosphere with varied amounts of success, the Chevrolet style of engine has been adopted as the standard to this unique type of oval dirt track racing.
For the second season in succession, driver Dave Magilton will exclusively utilize the quality Fontana Automotive built engine for competition. This past season, the Magilton Racing team received an all-new alloy Ford 372ci motor from Joe Fontana of California in USA (www.fontana-automotive.com). Once again for the 2006-2007 racing season the Ford/Fontana power plant will go along way to catapulting Dave ‘The Ford Guy’ Magilton and his new V#26 Maxim Chassis into some fine results.
Dave Magilton and his Ford Guys’ team have proven to be a popular unit throughout the racing landscape. Once again, right throughout the 2006-2007 competition season, you too can keep up to date with ‘The Ford Guy’ and his racing endeavours/adventures on this website with regular media releases.
Where ever the V#26 Fontana Automotive / Passlow Ford Maxim is racing throughout Australia during the 2006-2007 season, be sure to say G’day to the team and also purchase some of the coolest merchandise that will make you stand out as a fellow ‘Ford Guy’ on the hill!
